The Sunday Points Event will be held at the all concrete, very grippy, Brooksville/Hernando County Airport in Brooksville, FL.  This Sunday event will be 2018 Championship Points Event #20.  Event trophies for each class will be awarded and class championship points will be accrued on Sunday.

For this the last event of the season, we are going to change things up a bit. We are calling it the ...

"National Tour In A Day".

Greg Shumaker will be designing the course, which will be configured such that it can be run both forward and backward.  We are going to run three runs in the morning on the "forward course", break for lunch, then run  another three runs in the afternoon on the "backward course". Your best time from the morning will be added to your best time from the afternoon, and trophies and associated year end points will be based on your morning/afternoon total time.

In anticipation of your questions, here is a basic FAQ:

How will we be able to remember both courses?

You can walk both courses in the morning, and there should be some time available at lunch to grab a walk. This is similar to Pro-Solo events, where everyone tries to learn both the left and the right courses, and run them both back-to-back. Or... you can just look ahead!

Will we get our total score on Live Timing?

Right now, we are working on a solution to make that happen, although no guarantees. If not, we will have live timing during the morning for the morning runs, and live timing during the afternoon for the afternoon runs, and you'll have to do the math to figure out where you are.

How many runs will we get?

As is always the case, it depends on the number of entrants and the overlap time on the course. Greg's design will be geared toward lots of overlap, to maximize our runs.  The going in plan will be three runs in the morning on the "forward" course, and three runs in the afternoon on the "reverse" course, for a total of 6 runs.
