Permanent numbers can be moved from one driver to another. This task is performed when the permanent numbers are uploaded before the driver establishes their account on DLB Racing.com or drivers share/rent a car.
When the permanent numbers are uploaded and the driver can not be found the number is attached to a user named “Reserved Number”. This is a place holder account used to “park” permanent numbers until the driver creates an account on the site. Once the driver creates an account use these instructions to move the number to their account. You will need the email address of the DLBRacing.com account for the driver you wish to move the number to. You can enter that page from the Management menu (see Figure 1).
Once on the page locate the Move Tab (see Figure 2). If you want to move a number from the place holder account select “Unclaimed” from the “From” dropdown. Otherwise, select the permanent number from the dropdown. Enter the email address of the driver you wish to move the permanent number to into the “To” text box and click Load. This will load all the numbers attached to both drivers, “From” on the left and “To” on the right. You can now select a number and use the arrow buttons to move the permanent numbers from one driver to another.
If the Notify Driver box is checked an email will be sent to the driver informing them that the number is now assigned to their account. Notifications are not sent for removals.
