When uploading the information to the site you have a choice of file formats. You
can either upload a comma delimited file that must follow a specific format or you
may upload a Microsoft Excel file. The files can be as small (one driver) or as
large (entire region/chapter) as you desire. Therefore, you may upload a file with
a single driver instead of the entire region/chapter to add one driver.
File Formats
If the driver does not want their name to be displayed on any public list add a
@ to their first name. Their initials will be displayed instead. If you don't use
PaxClass enter the same value as Class. If your club does not allow the same number
in different classes you may omit the Class and PaxClass.
Comma delimited text file:
The file format is:
LastName,FirstName,Email or MemberNumber,Number,Class,PaxClass
Any field you don't provide I still need the comma so if you don't provide a Class
or PaxClass it should look like this
LastName,FirstName,Email or MemberNumber,Number,,
Microsoft Excel file:
The first row of the file should define the column headings. The system will display
the column mappings and allow you to adjust them if needed. The following headings
are expected, however, you can use the column mapping if your file contains different
column headings.
File processing
Drivers that have permanent numbers but are not members of DLB Racing.com will have
an account created for them along with their permanent number. The drivers name
will appear under the Added Drivers list.
Drivers that already are members of DLB Racing.com will have their information updated.
The drivers name will appear under the Updated Drivers List.
